I've always wanted to see a cranberry harvest. Imagine my surprise when I learned that Carlisle has a working cranberry bog (it just made this town even more perfect). Last year we missed the harvest so this year I was determined to see it.

Outer Banks
We just spent a wonderful week at the Outer Banks.
We tried taking family pictures while we were there and this was the best that we got. I think it will go on our Christmas card.

The first two days we were there it was very windy and cold. But it quickly warmed up and was perfect after that.
