Spain Day 5: Frigiliana

Frigiliana is a little town not far from where we are staying. It is a picturesque village with narrow, cobble stone streets. I loved it. It was one of my favorite places we visited.

We were always quite the sight walking around.

Elisabeth's first taste of gazpacho. She loved it. Before this meal, Elisabeth was living on bread, cheese, and tronquitos.

Day 3: Competa and Nerja

We didn't get to the house outside of Competa until late Tuesday so we just relaxed on Wednesday. We spent the day eating breakfast on the terrace, swimming in the pool, and going to the beach town of Nerja for paella on the beach.

The view from our house.

For lunch we had paella. They would make the paella in the open in these huge pans.

The kids didn't care for the shrimp with its head still on.

Spain Day 2: Toledo

Elisabeth was complaining of being hungry and tired.
So we had a breakfast of churros and ColaCao.

The kids got their own real swords. They were quite excited about getting them. Don't worry (Mom, I'm talking to you) they aren't sharp and they are only allowed to play with them if we are with them.

I think Jason was more excited than the kids to get a sword.
