Tuscany

My favorite region in Italy is Tuscany. One of the highlights of our trip was the rustic Tuscan villa we stayed in. It was up a narrow dirt road that was a bit scary at times (especially in the rain), but it was secluded and had a beautiful view that made the drive worth it. I loved it there and was sad to leave after a week.

Harrison lost his first tooth. (And got a swollen eye).

St. Patrick's Day

St. Patrick's Day is my favorite holiday. It's the day I became a mom. Elisabeth turned 12 today and we had a great day together. She skipped school and we went shopping, out to lunch and got her ears pierced (third times a charm). Happy Birthday Elisabeth. I don't know what I would go without you. You have such a happy and optimistic personality and I love being around you (even with all the fan girl talk.) 😉 I love you and can't wait to see you grow up because I know you're going to do great things.

Look who got braces today. 

Orvieto

On the drive to our house in Tuscany we stopped at the town Of Orvieto. It was a beautiful town built on a hill and one of my favorite towns in Italy.
