Chess

The kids have been obsessed with chess this week. Elisabeth and Ethan joined the Chess Club at their school and they have been wanting to play it all the time. Andrew has picked up on that enthusiasm as well. I went into the family room and found him like this watching Star Wars.

First Week of School

 Elisabeth started 2nd grade, Ethan started kindergarten, and Andrew started preschool this week. Elisabeth came home after her first day and declared that it was the best first day ever. Ethan seems to really like his class as well. He was really excited to start and so far has enjoyed it.

This little guy and I have been having fun just hanging out together. It's been a long time since I've just had one at home and I kind of like it!

Boston

For Harrison's birthday we went into Boston and rode the Swan Boats. When we got home Elisabeth wrote a poem about Boston. This is the poem:

 Loud and noisy

Hot a lot

Swan Boats swim like a swan

People walk a lot

Cars drive

Tall buildings about

Fenway Park

Red Sox go

Beautiful gardens

Frog Pond shallow waters

Construction noisy as Boston

A lot of buses around

Restaurants

I love Boston
