On the first day we arrived in Costa Rica we took a detour to see the Poas Volcano before heading to Arenal.

| On the way down the windy mountain road we stopped at a strawberry stand. The kids devoured the first 2 kilos and so we stopped at another place for another two. |

| This is the Arenal Volcano. It took a while to get to along narrow windy mountain roads, but it was fun to see once we got there. |
